My whole family, kids included, are big into skiing. I wanted to take every person to Montana so I did some study on Montana ski resorts. I found the best place ever. It’s called Whitefish Mountain Resort, and I’ll share with you why I decided to take my family there and how we had such an extraordinary time.

Whitefish Mountain Resort is settled by the town of, you guessed it, Whitefish. In northern Montana, the resort is on Big Mountain, which has over 3000 acres! It’s a beautiful drive from all directions to get there. If you are coming from additional away, the slopes are only 19 miles from the Glacier Park International airport with flights daily and shuttle service. The town of Whitefish has great dining and nightlife so when you are done skiing for the day, you can get a tasty meal and check out the sights of the town. There is a free ‘Snow Bus’ that runs from the resort to the town for your convenience. Whitefish Mountain Resort has lodging right on the mountain for your long stays. They can accommodate you anyone size your party. My family has five habitancy and we got a beautiful suite for 3 nights. They have exquisite deals on lodging such as if you buy 3 nights, you get the fourth free etc. Also you get additional savings if you pay for lodging and lift tickets.

As for the skiing itself, they offer some great deals. For example their ‘Learn-to-ski’ package. For the low price of , they give you 2 days of tool rentals, the lift tickets, and 2 lessons! For the beginner in your group this is such a good deal. Where else can you get so much for that low price?

They have a ski and snowboard school too. Even if you think yourself an expert, they have developed lessons that you can actually get some great tips from. Also awesome skiing and snowboarding, they have lots of other activities too. Night skiing for starters. They illuminate a large part of the hills and away you go in the dark! Also they have snowmobile tours. They give you a short training session, and off you go straight through their great trails with a guide. They have half days or full days. Other around activities comprise dog sledding, Nordic skiing, and many winter celebrations that are held throughout the Montana ski resort season.
