What to Wear for a Beach Wedding?
Your good friend is getting married and has invited you to attend her wedding ceremony. She has chosen the trendy beach wedding held at one of the most pristine beaches in the country. Scouting through your wardrobe, you perceive that you have no idea on what to wear for the event.
For a summer beach wedding, the wedding theme itself entails a casual feel. You want to look casual and smart, yet not too causal that you feel that you are not respecting the bride and groom. Thus if you are thinking to go in a jacket suit, it is a no no.
Beach
So what is the standard attire for the event? You want to look chic and good. If it is a day event, one good selection is to have a summer dress that flatters the body shape. You could add on accessories such as a hat and a clutch purse or bag. The color of the hat should match the palest color of your dress and not the darkest. You could also wear straightforward accessories such as a bangle or a necklace.
If you intend to be trendy, you could try to mix pieces of similar colors and patterns. Your hat then could be a fun loving piece but not too over bearing. Wear sexy shoes like silhouettes but make sure that they are comfortable and don’t sink verily in the sand. Try not to wear any piece that is made of the denim material or anything that will crease badly while the ceremony such as linen. Denim sort of symbolizes the lack of respect for the event. If you don’t wish to portray that message, do drop these off the list.
If the beach wedding is an evening affair, choose a dress that is sexy yet standard for the event. Try not to come in a tweed jacket or anything that is too formal. Wear something which you feel comfortable and you are able to hit the dance floor after the event to join in the fun! Try to coordinate the colors so that it is soothing and not loud. Brown shades are great for the event. Don’t come in an evening gown as you might look weird. Try a knee distance or a three quarters skirt. Style your hair and wear matching accessories.
If you take note of the above, you should be well ready to have fun in that beach wedding!

Beach Wedding – 4 Tips For Buying Bridesmaid Dress
Beach weddings often indicate an chance that is less glamorous compared to the original weddings. This does not mean though that the bride and the bridesmaids need not get glammed up. They have to – just not over the top – because it wouldn’t look good in the laidback setting of the ocean behind them.
1. For beach wedding bridesmaid dresses, just make sure that the distance of the gowns do not touch the sand. Ideally, the distance is up to the calf. Bridesmaids must still look elegant but they should also be wearing dresses that allow them to honestly walk on the beach.
Beach
These dresses can either be with sleeves or strapless but these should also match with the gown or the dress of the bride. Anything style the bride’s beach wedding dress is, it should be complemented by the beach wedding bridesmaid dresses.
2. The bride’s beach wedding dress and the beach wedding bridesmaid dresses should also have matching hem lengths. For example, if the bride is wearing a gown that is of full length, then the bridesmaids should wear dresses or gowns of any length.
However, if the bride’s beach wedding dress is shorter than the original gown, then the beach wedding dresses must also be short.
3. If the beach wedding bridesmaid dresses are strapless or are backless, then the bride must order wraps for them. Remember that the weather on the beach is so unpredictable. There is a possibility that the wedding day may be windy or cloudy.
Therefore, when the bride is buying beach wedding bridesmaid dresses, she should also look for designs that already have matching wraps. If not, then she must go to bridal shop or a formal wear shop that sells these items. She just has to set the wraps and the beach wedding bridesmaid dresses side by side to check that these match.
4. Also note that it is hard to walk on the sand so there is no point to wear stocking and heels. Dressier dresses require strappy sandals with short heels. If it is a more casual design, then one can just opt for flip flops with stylish decorations. Go for a bare look.

How to Never Pick the Worst Beach Wedding Location
A bride who dreams of a romantic beach wedding has many decisions to make. But for a beach wedding, the right location is one of the most leading decisions that will resolve whether your beach wedding carries a lifetime of great memories.
There are hundreds of beaches to pick from. From Maine to Florida, colse to the Gulf to Texas and Mexico and all the way back up the west coast, beaches abound. And that’s not even considering the hundreds of beaches available in the Caribbean islands.
Beach
But when you take the beach wedding you practically always chose the location first. There is nothing wrong with that but this could leave you disappointed and set you up for more stress than you can handle, especially in planning your beach wedding.
So why set yourself for failure. There are two considerations you should take into catalogue before you pick that picture exquisite location. I call this my beach location budgeting technique.
One of the first considerations when you are selecting a destination for your beach wedding is your budget. None of us like to place limits on our wedding. This is the most leading and extra day of our lives.
But when i planned my beach wedding, before i prime my location i prepared a budget. This allowed me to find the right location. And when i chose a location beyond what i initially concept i could afford, i cut down in other areas to make up for it.
And in this financial environment, just by know your funds you can not negotiate a deal for your ideal beach location. With some strong negotiations, you can get practically any location you want for the price you want.
Here is what to consider when creating a location budget:
How much voyage is involved? If you do not have a beach in your area, you will need to drive or fly to get there.
You will need at least two nights at a hotel, perhaps more. Also, will your attendants, friends, parents and other house be able to afford to join you? It’s very disappointing to have a small group able to attend when you’ve invited two hundred.
Now lets consider some great location spots for that extra day. Before you do the weather factor plays a critical part in getting the timing right for that extra location.
The Outer Banks of North Carolina is a lovely and romantic place for a wedding, but it would not be a good choice at the height of the hurricane season. Check with a local news assistance or library for median temperatures and rainfall while the week you pick for your beach wedding.
Summer in Florida, the Gulf Coast states, or the islands is very hot. Sweat is not romantic. If you are thinking summer, look into a beach in a more northern area, such as Cape May, New Jersey. The weather is still summery, but not as hot as southern locales.
Another thing to check into is how wide the beach is. Will there be sufficient room for your guests to be seated comfortably? Or will elderly relatives have to walk a long way in shifting sand to get to the beach wedding site at the edge of the water?
What about the those tide tables? You wouldn’t want to arrive and find your chosen site under water if it happens to be high tide. If you desire a beach wedding with the sun setting over the water, the smart thing to do is chose a beach on the western shore of whichever island or state you choose.
Picking the right location will help you make that extra day that is relished and talked forever. Your friends may even envy you for that.
